The colour of this Chakra is GREEN or PINK. It is situated by the Heart and the Thymus in the centre of the Chest. The element associated to it is Air. "Sense is touch". It is "programmed" between the ages of 12 and 16 (approximately)
The animal connected to it is a Dove. Symbol is a crescent.
When this Chakra is out of balance we have an inability to express love. We can be selfish, bitter, self critical and unsympathetic. We can often have free-floating anxiety. The physical effects of this being out of balance are heart problems (heart palpitations), immune system and the Thymus gland also lung problems or breathing difficulties, and depression. When balanced you can give unconditional love and a natural empathy to loved ones and associates and enjoy a happy relationship with a partner, it also helps with healing others. The best way to balance this Chakra is to meditate and visualise your Heart as a flower opening and filling with love, releasing and forgiving past hurts. Burning or bathing in Lavender oil and burning a green or pink candle can help. The crystal is Rose Quartz, Jade or Chamuel.
The Angels associated with this Chakra is Archangel Raphael or Chamuel.
